If you enjoy computing history, this is a must read. A rollercoaster of exhilaration and poignancy, and a sample of extreme bias-for-action. Funny how it doesn't feel like the tech industry has changed much over the forty odd years this book has been in print.

If you're from India and parts of the book surprise you, you really should read more about contemporary Indian history, especially 70-80s. Even with possessing a knowledge of India through the 70s, this book is a moving read. It is what most people would agree is a "sad read".
I enjoyed the writing a lot; the emotions came through strongly and even though there is a sense of detachment, of helplessness throughout the story, I found myself re-reading sentences.

I can't think of anyone who shouldn't read this book.
A difficult read, yes, but what an incredible account of life through death. It raises many pertinent questions and offers some (valuable) responses to them, and left me with a lot of thinking material.
