If you think of this as a standalone book, you'll be left very disappointed. As a story from the Potter universe adapted for the stage ... I thought it was fantastic and I can't wait to watch it in person.

In fact, as a story set two decades in the future of book 7, I think it has matured very well -- An adult Harry with adult issues. Perhaps it resonates with me more because I grew up as a child reading and obsessing over everything Potter (books 4-7 bought and finished the day they were released!), and now I'm an adult too.

I won't say more. Read it!

I want to print many copies of this book.
I want to print many copies and roll them up.
I want to roll them up and take them to meetings with my clients.
I want to take them to meetings and hit them over the head repeatedly while screaming "more... than... 30... years... and you... still... don't... understand... anything... stop... making... me... write... bad... software...!"

Seriously.
